About Chloé Jarnac

Chloé Jarnac is a Portland-based artist specializing in experimental filmmaking, video installation, and analog photography. Through various optical effects she explores poetic themes of spiritual transformation, abstraction, and reflection. Her work seeks to challenge the confines of the art mediums she practices.

Jarnac has collaborated on several multimedia projections for performances shown in Berlin, New York City, Los Angeles, and Denver. Her video work in “Daughters of Sappho” was featured in Dance Magazine, and her film “Dissecting Visual Sound” was featured at REDCAT in the CalArts Film Video Showcase. In addition to her creative projects, she is the co-founder of Womxn House - an all female identifying art community which fosters education, collaboration, and support to womxn creatives. Chloé holds a BFA in Filmmaking from the California Institute of the Arts.
