About Me

Chloé Jarnac is a Portland-based artist specializing in filmmaking, digital/analog photography, curation, drone media, and video installation. In her personal work she enjoys experimenting with various optical effects as she explores poetic themes of spiritual transformation, abstraction, and reflection. A natural storyteller, Jarnac creates visually provocative and compelling imagery within all her projects.

Jarnac has collaborated on several multimedia projections for performances that have shown in Berlin, New York City, Los Angeles, and Denver. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Dance Magazine, JOON magazine, and Foundations Mag. Her film “Dissecting Visual Sound” was shown at REDCAT in Los Angeles in 2012, and her cinematography work for “See Through” (directed by Eyal Resh) premiered at the Cannes Short Film Forum in 2019.

In addition to her creative collaborations, Jarnac is a seasoned Real Estate photographer with six years of professional experience, along with four years as a FAA certified drone pilot.

Jarnac is also the director and founder of Womxn House - a community for women, non-binary and trans creatives. Over the past two years, she has organized and curated numerous art events in Portland, OR, creating a platform to support and empower womxn artists in the PNW.

Jarnac holds a BFA in Film/Video from the California Institute of the Arts.
